NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK
This year during National Library Week, April 9-15, as a thank you to our many users, we will be giving out $1 coupons which can be redeemed at Perks and Possibilities, the cafe in the library's lobby run by students in the Transitions Program from DuPage High School District 88. To be eligible, you must check out materials at the Circulation Desk. Monday through Thursday, coupons will be given to the first 50 people checking out materials beginning at 9 am, 1 pm, and 5 pm. On Friday and Saturday, coupons will be given beginning at 9 am and 1 pm; on Sunday, this give-away will begin at 1 pm. The coupons will expire on Monday, April 30. So, if you are one of the lucky recipients, you will need to use it quickly. Perks and Possibilites is open Monday through Thursday from 9 to 11 am when school is in session.
RFID UPDATE
The new RFID system is up and running. We have heard many positive comments from you, the users. Two features that are frequently mentioned are that materials are checked in so quickly and that you can get a printed receipt for your records.
