Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the Addison Public Library is comprised of seven individuals who reside within the Village limits of Addison. Trustees are elected and serve six-year terms. To serve as a Trustee, an individual must be at least 18 years of age, a United States citizen, a registered voter, and a resident of Addison for one year.

The Board of Trustees of the Addison Public Library meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

The Board has adopted a paperless system of viewing information that will be discussed at each board meeting. The agendas and minutes are now available to the public using the same system.

05/10/2013 Summer Hours: Important!
As you may have read in the newsletter, our summer hours begin soon. Beginning on Sunday, May 26, we will be closed Sundays until the week after Labor Day. The newsletter erroneously states that we will be open on May 26, when in fact we will be closed. (We will also be closed on Memorial Day.) We will also close an hour earlier on Fridays after Memorial Day. Aside from these changes, we'll be open as usual!... Read More
