 Computers are available in the Children's Library for children through the fifth grade.
Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, tutor.com, and TumbleBooks, BookFlix, and, Muzzy as well as a variety of electronic reference sources and games are available to all children. The Internet is available with parental consent. Children are encouraged to bring their Library Cards to optimize computer use. Addison Patrons (with card) receive a maximum of two hours of computer time each day. All others receive a maximum of one hour per day.
All Internet users must abide by the Internet Rules.
The Children's Library also has an iPAD2 loaded with preschool apps available for one hour check out by a parent (with photo id and Addison Library Card). The iPAD comes with two sets of headphones and is designed for an adult and child to use together.
