Jumpin’ & Jammin’ is an interactive parent/child music program that involves singing, rhythm instruments, movement, and stories. It will introduce children to music in a fun, playful setting while also assisting with early literacy development and motor skills. This program is best suited for children ages 3-5 with their parents, but younger siblings are also welcome!

Many of the stories of Lois Ehlert take place in fall and include leaves, apples, cherries and birds. Come join us as we read these fall stories, as well as do crafts and play games. We will also make a card for Lois Ehlert’s 80th birthday and enjoy some yummy cupcakes.

If you just signed up for new health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act and you need help understanding your new plan, or if you believe you may qualify for Medicaid under the new law, a certified navigator from the county health department will be making regular visits to the library for one-on-one appointments. He’ll be available on the second and fourth Saturday of each month.
