Creative Corner / Kreatywny Kącik

Drop-in. Join us for a Polish-English story time which will include books, rhymes, songs, and crafts. Learn something new about Polish culture or continue learning the Polish language with us. Everyone is welcome! You do not need to speak Polish to attend. All ages.

Nie ma rejestracji.  Zapraszamy każdego na polski program. Będą to zajęcia artystyczne, opowiadanie bajek, i śpiewanie piosenek. Wszyscy są mile widzani. Program jest otwarty dla wszytkich grup wiekowych.

Learn to Play Chess

Learn to play the royal game of chess!  Chess is a lot of fun and great way to make new friends. Participants will be taught all the rules of this fascinating pastime. Instructor Bennett Joseph is an experienced coach who is ranked in the top 2% of players in the U.S. Grades 3-5.

Preschool Story Time

Preschool children have fun and develop school readiness skills. This story time is for independent preschoolers ages 3-5; parents & caregivers welcome.

This is a four-week session that will meet weekly on Weds. Sept. 14, 21, & 28; and Oct. 5.


Paper Folding Club

Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - 4:30pm to 5:30pm

Origami is fun, but this workshop is all about paper models. Join us as we fold creative and interesting models out of paper. Grades 3-5.

Early Literacy Workshop/Taller de alfabetización temprana

Wednesday, September 14, 2016 - 6:30pm to 7:30pm

Join us for this interactive workshop where we will discuss tips and the importance of reading, writing, playing, singing, and talking to get your child ready to read. The whole family is invited. Parents & caregivers will attend the workshop while children attend a story time. For families with children ages 0-5; older siblings welcome. The workshop will be presented in both English & Spanish.
