Who Are the Friends
The Friends of the Addison Public Library is a nonprofit organization that supports enhancements of collections and services at the library. The Friends plan book sales, activities, and events to raise funds and to encourage the community to use the Addison Public Library.
The group's dues and proceeds from additional fundraising are used to enhance the library's resources and support services that are beyond the library's budget.
In addition to the satisfaction members have of supporting the Addison Public Library, Friends Members will receive free admission to the preview night of the Friends of the Library Annual Book Sale.
