The Children's Library of the Addison Public Library has current and classic movies, television shows, and educational films for children and families on DVD. DVDs are checked out for 7 days at no charge. (Limit ten DVDs, please.) DVDs in the Children's Library are rated G or PG.
 
Some recent DVD acquisitions include:

Disney’s Wild About Safety: Timon and Pumbaa Safety Smart Online – Timon and Pumbaa teach online safety smarts to children in a fun way. They explain the need to protect personal information and the proper response to bullying. Includes a safety smart sing-along and a downloadable user’s guide with additional activities. In English, Spanish, and fourteen other languages. Ages 5-10.

The Facts Of Life: Seasons 1 & 2 – Join Mrs. Garrett and the girls as they face the good and face the bad, together at their boarding school. Season 3. Ages 8 and up.

Firebreather – From Cartoon Network comes fierce action as two worlds clash, dragons roam the Earth, and past secrets are exposed. At the center of it all, teenager Duncan struggles to find his place as half-Kaiju and half-human. Rated TV7. Ages 10 and up.
