Sponsored by the Congregation of St. Joseph, this organization offers two programs.
School on Wheels tutors are now helping 450 students living in and near Cicero, Hodgkins, Lombard, Summit, Villa Park, Westmont, and Woodridge. They also offer free computer classes to help our students improve their job skills and help their children with their computer homework!
Tutors on Wheels offers free one-on-one and group English literacy classes in Addison, Berwyn, Bloomingdale, Cicero, Glendale Heights, Naperville, Warrenville and Wheaton. Volunteers go to churches, businesses, libraries or community centers and teach English language literacy or help students study for the U.S. citizenship test.
