Artist of the Month
December 06, 2011
This month's artist, Francine Nevers, is inspired by nature, our national parks, and travel. Take a journey with Francine when you look at her beautiful paintings. They are on the art wall, across from the elevator on the second floor.

She enjoys hiking, climbing mountains, and walking. On trips, she keeps a sketch journal and takes many photos. When you are climbing a mountain, the atmosphere and the views are clean, fresh, and mysterious. Francine tries to capture this in her work.
The paintings in this collection are from her journeys: Mt. Reiner, Rocky Mountain National Park, Morton Arboretum, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Rome, Italy. These works are done in oil pastels, oil pastels on water color, and pastels.
