Debra Mielke: Artist of the Month

Debra Mielke has oil paintings on display this month on the 2nd floor, across from the elevator. Take a moment to appreciate her talent.


Debra Mielke has been an oil painter for slightly more than five years. She loves to recreate natural landscapes, flowers, and old buildings. Traveling through the states has provided many photo opportunities to capture a special place that inspires her to paint her memories.

Marge Hall from the DuPage Art League has been Debra's mentor, teaching her the techniques of oil painting.

Debra currently serves on the boards of three different art leagues and enjoys interacting with these truly dedicated and talented persons.
