Artist of the Month: Leah Tait

Beautiful paintings by local artist Leah Tait are on display this month on the wall across from the elevator on the second floor. Pottery by our employee Hannah Palma Laky complements Leah's work in the display case to the right of the art wall. Make sure to check out our rotating art collection next time you're here!

Leah Tait retired from a career in nursing in 1995. She had a lot of time on her hands and no idea what to do. Then she decided: It was time to go back to school! Always having wanted to learn oil painting, she signed up for a painting class at the College of DuPage, and remains enrolled in art classes to this day. 

Being involved in the art scene has made retirement both enjoyable and meaningful for Leah.
