Local Artist Displays Works
January 20, 2009
Local artist Dick Miller is the first to display his works at the library. His paintings will be displayed until the end of February.
A blank wall in Adult Services across from the elevator is a display gallery for local artists. Richard Miller is the first artist to bring his works to the library. According to Miller, his work is "an expression of an art between simple representation and pure abstraction." These five watercolors and one oil will be on display through the month of February.
Working with the Addison Art Guild, the library hopes to have a different artist's works each month.
