The Poor Relations are once again in need of money. The task falls to Mrs. Budley, a young attractive widow. The plan is for her to travel to the wilds of Warwickshire to visit the old, senile, and ailing Marquis of Peterhouse and convince him that she is a long, lost relative. Unfortunately, the elderly Marquis has died and the new Marquis is young, handsome and nobody’s fool. It’s hijinks and romance galore in this 3rd book of the Poor Relations series.
APPEAL: Great fun and frothy romance. This review is about the audiobook version, read by Davina Porter - a wonderful narrator.
