Summer Reading + More Summer Fun!

We're so excited to spend the summer telling stories and having fun with you! Check out what's happening this summer at the library:

Summer Reading (June 1-August 18)

Pick up a reading log from the library and start celebrating summer! Fill in a square each time you read for 20 minutes or participate in an activity listed below. When you fill in 25 squares, return your log for a T-shirt and an entry into the Summer Reading Grand Prize drawing! Completed logs may be turned in starting June 10.

Stories

Sharing stories brings families and  communities together. You can participate by:

  • Reading or listening to stories in books, comics, or magazines. Borrow from our shelves, read your own materials, or use one of the library’s apps to enjoy digital materials.
  • Telling and listening to stories with family or friends as you spend time together.
  • Sharing your story by writing, drawing a comic, or making a movie.
  • Read a book as part of one of our book discussions
