#chefmode All the ingredients you need to make a delicious and healthy recipe at home. Whether you’re making pineapple salsa or pita pizzas, you’ll learn essential tips and tricks to use no matter what you’re cooking. Ingredients may include dairy and gluten products, though we will try to provide substitutions whenever we can. Hive Arts + Crafts Studio Whether it’s paint, pencil, paper, yarn, or clay, we’ll help you get creative with our studio kits. Everything you need is included and our activities will be fun for beginners and experts alike. Pickup Mon - Wed, Sept. 20 - 22, Oct 18 - 20, and Nov. 15 - 17.
Project Fresh Each month we’ll give you a bag of fruits and veggies, a secret ingredient to make them delicious, and a new challenge to develop your cooking skills. Learn how to use what’s fresh with simple techniques, some classic combos, and game-changing spices. Supplies are limited and made possible through a partnership with the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Glen Ellyn Food Pantry. We cannot make any substitutions. Hive Mind: Teen Mental Health Support Coping with stress, anxiety and depression is always important, but with the isolation and uncertainty brought on by the pandemic, having mental health tools and resources is even more essential. Join counselors and public health experts from the YWCA for a new monthly group discussing mental health supports for you and your friends. Tuesdays, Aug. 31, Sept. 21, and Oct. 19 4pm and 7pm.
Alphabet Soup A safe space no matter who you are or who you love. We’ll be talking about the issues that matter most to you, finding support from each other and local organizations, and having some fun along the way. Wednesdays, 4p – 5pm.
