The Addison Public Library offers several small study rooms for individuals and small groups. The rooms vary in size and seat between 2 and 8 people. Note that the rooms aren't soundproof and quiet talking is allowed. For a completely silent space, use our Silent Reading Room or the tables along the north side of the second floor. The study rooms are available on a walk in, first-come, first-served basis and may be used for up to two hours. This may be extended by library staff if no one is waiting. They may be reserved up to one week in advance for Addison Public Library cardholders. Rooms will be held for 10 minutes after the time of your reservation, and you can only reserve one room per week. Call 630.458.3320 with questions.
When we're not using the library's meeting rooms for public events and internal meetings, we're happy to share with others. Addison Public Library cardholders who are representatives of nonprofit and governmental groups that serve the community are welcome to request space for their own events, provided they're happening in the next six weeks. Our large meeting room comfortably seats 60 and our boardroom comfortably seats between 12 and 24. Fill out our online form and we'll get back to you within three days. Note: If you're looking for a small room for 8 of fewer people you can book a study room, just call 630.458.3320 to find the appropriate room.
