Our Room Names are Changing

As our building project progresses, you may start to notice new names being used for many of our spaces.

September 18, 2025

The library will open at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Large HVAC equipment will be installed on our roof using a crane.

August 18, 2025

Our main entrance is closed due to construction. Please use our temporary entrance, located at the front right of the building.

August 8, 2025

The library will be closed on Wednesday, August 13 due to construction.

July 23, 2025

Due to building project construction, Study Rooms S21–S26, located on the 2nd floor of the library, will be unavailable starting July 28, 2025.

December 18, 2024

The Board unanimously voted to approve bid packages for the library's renovation project.

August 21, 2024

On Tues., Aug. 20, the Board of Trustees approved a not-to-exceed budget of $12.3 million for the upcoming renovation.

May 21, 2024

The Board of Trustees scheduled a special meeting for July 30, 2024 where the architects will present updated pricing and project plans.

March 20, 2024

The Board voted unanimously to move forward with the Large Plan option "C".

March 5, 2024

The Board approved a motion to pay the architects for their time going forward until a decision is made on the scope of the project.

February 20, 2024

The Board agreed by consensus to postpone voting on any of the proposed plans and scheduled a special meeting for Tues., Mar. 5.

January 16, 2024

The architects presented options that would accomplish different levels of enhancements without requiring expansion of the building.

September 19, 2023

At the September 2023 meeting of the Board of Trustees, the Board voted to suspend the previously announced building project.
