As part of our ongoing construction project, the Creative and Sound Studios will be unavailable starting May 2025 so that the new makerspace Sam's Lab and new Digital Media Lab can be built.
Most Creative Studio equipment will be available by appointment only on the 1st floor. Please schedule a one-on-one appointment online before stopping by to work on a project.
The Sound Studio's iMac with Adobe Creative Cloud and additional editing software will be available by reservation in the temporary computer lab on the 2nd floor. The VHS-to-MP4 converter and photo scanners are available in the temporary computer lab. Additional digital converting equipment is available by request. Sound recording equipment like the Blue Snowball mic and midi keyboard piano are unavailable; but, Blue Yeti microphones are available in our Library of Things for cardholders to use at home.
At this time, there are no re-opening dates for the new Sam's Lab or Digital Media Lab. Read more about our renovation and projected timeline.
