Sewing Machines

The Creative Studio has two digital sewing machine models: the Janome Magnolia 7330 and the Singer Quantum Stylist 9960. Both sewing machines have an optional foot pedal and are accessible using a Start/Stop button. 

The sewing machines are great for hemming and mending your own clothes! You can use these machines to create pillow cases, bags, and more.

Access to the sewing machines are by appointment

The equipment and tools are free to use. Patrons should bring their own material for their project.

    • Note: We do not have denim or leather sewing needles.
  • Sewing pattern
  • Thread in desired color
    • White and Black All Purpose Polyester Thread is available for free
  1. Request an Appointment and schedule a one-on-one with the Creative Services Coordinator.
  2. Wind a bobbin and thread the sewing needle. An instructional manual is available for patrons. Staff can provide guidance during appointments.
  3. Use the foot pedal or Start/Stop button to operate the machine.
