What is the Creative Studio?

The Creative Studio is the library’s makerspace! You can use the equipment to make DIY gifts and decorations. The Creative Studio has a variety of equipment like a Cricut Maker, Silhouette Cameo, heat presses, sublimation printer, 3D printer, and more. See our list of equipment.

What do I need to bring?

You need a design and the supplies for your project. There are printing fees for the 3D Printer, Poster Printer, and Sublimation Printer. All other equipment is free to use. Staff can provide basic help with design software to get you started, but do not provide custom artwork or designing. We recommend buying your project supplies from craft stores like Michael's and JoAnn.

For sublimation, you need a “sublimation blank” like a Cricut Infusible Ink Mug or a white polyester shirt. Sublimation will not work with cotton or generic mugs.

For the Cricut Maker and Silhouette Cameo, you need your own adhesive vinyl, iron-on vinyl, paper, or stencil – depending on your project. Adhesive vinyl is used with hard surfaces like glass, ceramic, metal, or hard plastics. Iron-on vinyl works with cotton and other fabrics.
