Get creative with us! We're challenging patrons grades 6-12 and adults to complete four maker activities this April.
Pick from a list of fun, hands-on projects (below), and track your progress with a Maker Challenge log—available to download or pick up at the library starting April 1!
Participants who complete at least four maker activities by April 30 will earn a Master Maker Certificate and a prize, while supplies last! Submit your logs to the Tech Help Desk, located on the 2nd floor of the library.
All logs must be submitted by April 30.
Maker Activities
Complete at least four maker activities by April 30 and earn a Master Maker Certificate and a prize!
- Watch a Creativebug tutorial
- Watch a Craft & Hobby tutorial
- Submit a 3D Print file
- First 30 Print requests submitted in April are free. Limit 1 per person.
- Submit a poster print file
- First 30 poster prints sized 18" x 24" on matte paper are free. Limit 1 per person.
- Record a song in the Sound Studio
- Reserve the Sound Studio with your Addison Public Library card
- Digitize a VHS tape, vinyl record, or 8mm film
- Reserve the Sound Studio with your Addison Public Library card
- Attend a Creative Studio program in April
- Complete a Grab-and-Go Kit from April
- Use Creative Studio equipment for your own craft project
- Some equipment requires a scheduled one-on-one appointment
