Kanopy is an on-demand streaming service that offers free access to thousands of films, TV shows, documentaries, and kids content. And with no ads! To access Kanopy, you will need an email address, an Addison Public Library card, and your PIN. Get started here.
12 Tickets Per Month
Addison Public Library cardholders receive 12 tickets each month to watch videos. Each video costs between 1–4 tickets, depending on the title. Kanopy also offers a selection of free titles that don’t require any tickets!
Three Days to Watch Each Film
Once you press play, you’ll have three days to watch that film as many times as you’d like—without using additional tickets.
Tickets Reset on the First of the Month
Once you have used all of your tickets, you will not be able to play any more films until the new month starts and your 12 tickets reset.
Any Device
You can access Kanopy from any device, including through Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire, iOS, and Android apps.
