Illinois residents with valid IDs can experience several of Chicago’s well-loved museums for FREE in 2026!

The Addison Public Library has a new app called The Palace Project to use for reading eBooks and listening to eAudiobooks.

Join us on January 19 from 1:00-3:00 PM for a day of service to help our community.

The library serves as a Court Access Library Center, offering space and dedicated equipment for residents without lawyers to navigate the legal system.

The Addison Public Library is collecting non-perishable food items and personal essentials to support our local food pantries and to help our neighbors in need.

Due to the recent and unexpected closure of Baker & Taylor, the Boundless app for eBooks and audiobooks is being discontinued.

Baker & Taylor, a major book distributor for almost 200 years, will be closing in the coming months. You may notice some delays in seeing new releases and popular titles on our shelves over the next few weeks.

Starting Sat. Nov. 1, shoppers can show their library card at one of the participating to receive a deal, discount, or free item. Shop local and shop small this holiday season as we celebrate Small Business Saturday!

The library will open at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Large HVAC equipment will be installed on our roof using a crane.
