FOIA Requests

Picture of Library with Flag

We are committed to the ideal of transparency, and we are happy to work within the structures set up by various transparency laws to help our patrons find out what they need to know.

Often we receive FOIA requests for information readily available. You may want to look at our policies, budget, staff organization chartmeeting agendas, and board information before submitting your request so you can obtain the information as quickly as possible.

Send your request using this PDF form by email, letter, or fax to the FOIA officer listed below. The officer will respond to your request within five business days. Please keep in mind the library is closed on a handful of holidays throughout the year. Requests may also be delivered by hand to an employee of the library who is currently working in the library.

Printing copies of these requests is affordable. The first 50 pages of black ink on letter or legal paper are free; after that, each page is $0.15. Colored copies and copies on different types of paper will cost you whatever it costs the library to print them. Electronic copies will be free after the price of whatever medium on which they are saved (USB drive, CD, etc.).

The library's FOIA officer is the director, Mary Medjo Me Zengue. She will gladly comply with any FOIA requests.
