Place a Reserve
You can place a hold on any material in the library except the Lucky Day and Reference collections. Just find the title you want, log into your account, and complete the request. Need assistance? Just give us a call at 630.543.3617.
We'll notify you as soon as the items are ready for you to pick up. All holds are kept for seven days and then they are put back on the shelf or go to the next patron in the hold queue.
Cancel a Reserve
Cancel reserves online at your convenience. Just log into your account and either cancel or freeze your reserves. Need assistance? Just give us a call at 630.543.3617.
Reserve Something We Don't Own
Want a title we don't have? You can:
- Search library catalogs from around the world using WorldCat
- Let us do the searching! If you can't find an item in our catalog, or it’s not even released yet, just fill out this order form. We will either use interlibrary loan to find the item from another library or consider purchasing it for our collection. We will let you know when it’s ready for pickup. If we are unable to get the item, you will also be notified.
